Janelle Monae

Kim Kardashian
Kim K. again...
Nia Long

Rihanna

Kat Von D.

 Lady GaGa

Nene Leakes

Rihanna again...

Teedra Moses

Jill Scott

Eva Pigford

You can say what you want about these ladies but consistently, these ladies faces are usually BEAT TO THE GODS!!

Janelle Monae: Makeup is usually very subtle and natural. A smoky eye here and there but mainly very neutral looks

Kim Kardashian: GLAM!! I love how she is ever evolving with her looks. Her smokey eye, nude lip combo look is most sought after by ladies worldwide. MUA is Mario Dedivanovic

Nia Long: Nia's makeup is always classic and it compliments her overall look

Rihanna: RULEBREAKER!! I love how RiRi isn't concerned with the cookie cutter imagery with the rules of makeup. Blue eyeshadow, heavy winged out eyeliner, purple lipstick and she's out the door! Gotta luv it!!

Kat Von D. : She works the "vamp" look effortlessly without being too harsh. Her lipstick of choice is a matte red to complete her day to day look

Lady GaGa: Her go to MUA is the uber talented Billy B, who is also famed for his work with Lauryn Hill and Missy Elliot. Nuff said...

Nene Leakes: Say what you may about Miss Nene but that face is ALWAYS on point. Period.

Jill Scott: Natural and Classy!!

Teedra Moses: This former fashion stylist now singer just does her thing across the board. But her makeup is always flawless!!

Eva Pigford: Two words. Contour. Highlight.

Intro

First off I want to thank you for taking the time to check out my blog! Ive been playing with the idea of blogging for quite some time now and with the assistance of a friend I decided to stop dragging my ass and get to it.
My blogs will feature fashion from my perspective as being a full figured fashionable woman in a world where plus size fashion isn't always accessible. But don't fret skinny girls....my blogs wont be limited to plus size fashions. I will also feature men's fashion periodically just to mix it up a bit. You also see alot of shoes and accesories. My personality is a bit all over the place so you will get a taste of that from my blogs. As a freelance MUA (make up artist)you will also see reviews on cosmetics.
Music drives my heartbeat. Its a part of my daily routine. You will see alot of posts from musicians I adore and eventually (God Willing) branch out with a few interviews.
I also want to do a feature maybe once a month entitled "The Lowdown" where I will interview random people with a series of random questions about fashion, music, and love.
As noted in my profile, my blog is a plethera of all things dope. Stay tuned for more things to come....

B Locka, Tee Rocka....

A couple years ago a close friend by the name of Brittany Lockett of Atlanta, GA had an idea to create a clothing line. Initially her brand Choix was devised upon the idea of creating an upscale women's wear line with the intricate details derived from menswear. She later branched out creating Graphic Tease, a tee shirt line that is inspired by music, movies, and social media. The quote "Men lie, Women lie, Numbers Don't, which gained notoriety from Jay Z, is one of her top sellers. Her style is best described as maybe Santigold meets Mel B. She can usually be seen rocking the latest sneakers but she ain't scared to throw on some heels. Oh, and if you think she is limited to apparell, stay tuned. Dopeness in the making..
